Bus from Hue to Hoi An 

There are several direct bus options to  Hoi An, we recommend The Sinh Tourist or Hanh Cafe, these are particularly good buses to use. Costing about 100,000 VND (4.30 USD),  Sinh Tourist bus has two schedules:  departing at 8:30 am and arriving around 12:30 pm. The second train leaves at 1:45pm and arrives around 5:15pm. You can book  and pay online for 99,000 VND (4.30 USD).

 Shuttle Bus from Hue to Hoi An

Hue Buses provide service to Hoi An and are a good choice if you're traveling in a group or want to take a minibus (they limit passengers to a maximum of 10). 

They pick you up from your hotel in Hue and drop you off at your hotel in Hoi An, however, the price is 240,000 VND (10 USD). Also, if the shuttle  is not full,  they can pick up people on the street. The journey will take about four to five hours.

The first train departs at 7am and the second at 2:30pm. This will be the best option if you want a quick and easy trip without going to the pick up location.

Private car from Hoi An to Hue 

 Why not take a day trip during your trip from Hoi An to Hue and visit some of the most popular tourist attractions along the way? Including Marble Mountains, My Khe Beach,  Hai Van Pass and Lang Co Beach. Turn a boring four-hour trip into a six-hour adventure.

So get out of the car and stretch your legs up the 156 stone steps of the Marble Mountains. Motorbike from Hoi An to Hue 

In the land of motorbike taxis, scooters and organized chaos, why not take a motorbike tour of Hue? Journey on somewhat flat terrain on Highway 1, but be aware that this is a highway full of trucks, which can be a bit creepy at times. We do not recommend this route for new drivers. 

 From here you climb up the narrow, zigzag road on the cliffside through  Hai Van Pass. A magnificent walking path, full of views. The direct journey from Hue to Hoi An takes about three hours. But we recommend doing it slowly. Stop several times at the top along the way and admire the captivating beauty of Central Vietnam.
