Best Beaches In Nha Trang

Nha Trang's beaches stretch around the  resort town, offering a wealth of tourist activities and entertainment for travelers looking to soak up the sun on vacation. Often referred to as the Riviera of the East Sea, Nha Trang boasts a stunning 6km coastline with plenty of dining and accommodation options  along  white sand beaches. 

No two beaches are alike in Nha Trang. They range from  bustling Tran Phu Beach for travelers who want to be in the center of everything to  Bai Dai Beach further afield, ideal for escaping the often crowded city. Some of these  may be a long drive  from Nha Trang, but the peaceful seaside setting is well worth the visit.

Tran Phu Beach, easily walkable from almost anywhere in Nha Trang City, is the most popular beach in Nha Trang. It is close to the iconic Tran Phu street, which is a beautiful seaside promenade with many luxury and mid-range  resorts, hostels, souvenir shops, museums and seafood restaurants. . 

 The nightlife around Tran Phu Beach is also popular. Highly recommended venues include Sailing Club Nha Trang and  Skylight Nha Trang sky deck and rooftop beach club. In addition, there is a wide range of activities such as surfing, snorkeling, cycling, spa treatments, meditation and yoga around Tran Phu Beach.

Hon Chong beach is located just north of Tran Phu beach, Nha Trang, separated only by a small outcrop. It's only a 5-minute drive to the iconic Po Nagar Cham Towers, where you'll be greeted by a tranquil beach  and a stacked rock formation  that stretches out into the sea. Access to the beach is free  but you have to pay an entrance fee to climb the rocks. It is well worth the money and effort as you will be greeted with a panoramic view of the neighboring islands and the crescent-shaped beach of Nha Trang. 

The atmosphere here is very peaceful, with a number of cafes and seafood restaurants dotted along the beach. About 300m south of Hon Chong, you will find Red Island (Red Island), where there is a Buddhist temple on the top of the hill, and Turtle Island (Turtle Island) in the northeast.

Bai Tru Beach on Hon Tre Island is located adjacent to the huge VinWonders Nha Trang Vinpearl Land amusement park. The 3,320m long sea-crossing cable car connects the island to the mainland of Nha Trang,  you can also travel by ferry,  canoe, speedboat, car and motorbike. 

Home to an amphitheater, shopping mall, and various games, the amusement park is the main attraction of the island. However, if you want to spend a day at Bai Tru Beach,  an entrance fee will be charged, which includes round-trip speedboat transfers, buffet lunch, and  beach and pool access.

Bai Dai Beach

Bai Dai Beach is a popular day trip among Nha Trang visitors looking for a secluded and hippy-like atmosphere. It's located 28 km south of Nha Trang. While sightseeing and accommodation options are scarce, you can unwind by the pristine beach or enjoy a day of volleyball, surfing, and swimming in its clear waters.

There are also several seafood restaurants on Bai Dai Beach. Some are charming hut-like establishments decorated with Bob Marley posters and wooden furnishings while their kitchens serve up western favourites, fruit juices, and beers all day.

Nhu Tien Beach

Nhu Tien Beach is the backdrop of the luxurious Diamond Bay Resort & Spa in Nha Trang city. The private beach has long stretches of white sand, palm trees, blue water and green mountains. Just a 20-minute  ride from the city by free shuttle, it's become a popular choice for a quiet beach day in Nha Trang. 

Diamond Bay Resort & Spa features a golf course, spa center, tennis court and 5 on-site restaurants serving grilled seafood, Vietnamese, Asian and Western dishes. Other activities available here include yoga, kayaking, jet skiing, snorkeling, and banana boating. Doc Let Beach

Doc Let Beach, located 45 km north of Nha Trang, offers mid-range and budget accommodation for backpackers and budget travelers looking to relax by the beach. With many palm trees and fishing boats moored offshore, Doc Let is most famous for its salt fields, where you can take pictures of the white salt mountains and locals carrying heavy baskets. through the field. 

Unlike the more touristy Tran Phu Beach, Doc Let Beach is relatively untouched by development except for a few small local shops and  restaurants. The sand is soft and smooth, which can creep under your feet as you walk, and with a few others on the beach, Doc Let is the perfect getaway.

Jungle Beach

Jungle Beach in Ninh Phuoc village is popular with the backpacker community. It offers the ideal relaxing getaway  thanks to its secluded location, no-frills accommodation, verdant forests and charming fishing villages. 

Located 60 km north of Nha Trang, Jungle Beach is a place where you can enjoy a day of trekking and watching wild monkeys, eagles, slow loris and douc langurs. If you want to stay close to the beach, there are also plenty of activities available, including snorkeling, swimming, surfing, and beach volleyball.
